The moving image is one of 60 photographs which were selected from 10,000 entries from 70 countries to feature in the Atkins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year exhibition.

The prestigious event, held at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington, London, opens on June 29 and will showcase the 'very best in environmental photography and film'.

Steve Morgan's photograph showing a submerged Hebden Bridge in the Calder Valley, West Yorkshire, on Boxing Day is one of the pictures selected to feature in the exhibition.

The competition - where the top prize winner will take home £3,000 - encourages entries that that will inspire people around the world to start taking care of the environment.

The prize winners will be announced during a preview of the London exhibition next month.
