England v Iceland: Twitter reacts as Three Lions are humiliated against European minnows

ENGLAND'S dismal showing against Iceland has sent Twitter into overload.
Joe Hart came in for particular ire but that's a different story, which can be found HERE.
And we've rounded up all the best action - but Three Lions fans be warned, the internet does not hold its punches.
One of the most popular memes circulating shows Joe Hart standing in front of Iceland (the supermarket) with the caption: "Iceland is supposed to be cheap! But Joe Hart saved nothing!"
Even the food store itself got in on the act, using its official Twitter account to post: "Unexpected result in the bagging area..."
Another posted by a cheeky Wales fan showed Wales players including Gareth Bale and Joe Ledley looking through imaginary binoculars with a message reading: "Bale and Ledley trying to spot England's plane home."
And someone even started a joke petition calling for a re-run of the match.
In a comical parody of the a popular petition by Remain campaigners calling for a re-do of the referendum, the petition calling for a re-match has already garnered thousands of signatures.
England manager Roy Hodgson has also come in for his fair share of mockery.
A whole range of funny pictures of the coach were posted with jokes like: "At the post game press conference, Roy Hodgson attempted to throw himself on his sword... but he missed!"
Hodgson resigned from his post immediately after the game, reading a suspiciously pre-written-sounding statement to the press.
But quitting didn't save the England boss from criticism or relentless fun-poking.
Someone even put the theme tune to the movie Titanic to the video of him announcing his decision to step down.
Sky News's Faisal Islam tweeted: "Roy Hodgson resigns: clears the way for Tory party leadership run."
Indeed many social media commentators drew parallels between England's Euro 2016 exit and Britain's decision to leave the EU.
@Oldfirmfacts1 tweeted a picture of Hodgson next to Nigel Farage with the caption: "Throughout the campaign they made all these promises and now it's over we find out they were lying"
And Facebook user Freddie Ellis wrote: "If anyone didn't quite understand how this football match relates to us leaving the EU, let me clarify this; We are a bunch of idiots who have run out of ideas."
