The biggest consumer of meat per capita in Africa is the South Africa, where people consume an average of 64 kg of meat per capita per year. Gabon comes in second, with 57 kg of meat. Mauritius is third, with 53 kg.
The lowest meat consumption can be found in Ethiopia (7 kg), Rwanda, Gambia and Nigeria (8 kg).
