Wow! Pour le télécharger faut-il un abonnement à sketchfab? Celui-ci ne semble pas payant.
Fantastic model.
Hey thx for your comment ChuckM3C2 !
photo alignement : high / pair selection / 1000 tie points / 50 000 max points
dense cloud : high / save depth maps in option, in case of memory limitation / agressive
mesh : set by default in high
textures : 4k
In this project, I've used 110 photos and mask them in photoshop :)
Stunning model. Absolutely great combination of model and texture detail. I too use Agisoft Photoscan and have a model of a similar type of statue of Wellington with 4 seated figures at base- check my page ( skfb.ly/BLVD ). Can you give me an idea of the configurations/settings you used. What values do you use to align, create dense cloud and then generate mesh? Do you mask photos first before alignment? How many images.

J'arrive un peu tard, mais c'est toujours aussi émouvant, et un scan splendide !
Wow, so many details. Beautiful scan, R0m1R.
and yes, that is a great scan.
JE SUIS DONBASS!!! JE SUIS VANYA (without both legs, hand and vision)
?
Something for Nigeria ;[
Your models are really nice HoangHiepVu ! I've a little camera, but image are really sharp ! (sony RX100)
I've zoom on each part of the monument to get the maximum of information !
Then I've done one spin around from a distant place without zooming...oki I've get some people on muy photos but the pictures where sharp enough to reconstruct the whole statue (no holes at all). The only one problem was the projection of people in the texture !
I didn't have enough time, but when I will get some more time, I will combine the model generated from a far distance and the close up photo I've made ! For this one I was wanting really sharp texture to let the user read the messages.
Great model. I have myself a similar model. I took the photo in the morning, my photos do not have enough light, especially for the top statue. It's amazing how your photos have details for this statue.
very great! bravo!
Great job @R0m1R, thanks more making this and sharing it with us!
I made a quick side by side comparison with another scan before #JeSuisCharlie jsfiddle.net/dj4xvdnb/embedded/result/
Thx you so much Mcvities for those tips ! yeah I've used downsampling many times for small projetcs, but I was using agisoft because of masking ! it will save my life ! and get my computer to last a little longuer because photoscan need so much power !
180M de poly the final scene xD ! 1FPS
@R0m1R: You could use the downsampling functionnality to reduce the dataset and produce an OBJ file.
I think even if you reduce it a bit, your will still have a nice mesh.
Regarding masking: You can use a mask.tif file that have the same name as the picture you want to handle.
See the MaskFile field on the propertie panel on the right when you click on your image inside a photogroup.
if someone have the sketchab carboard...

@Crlnvl (charlie), I've use 144 photos but there was too much overlapping ! the best to get rid of this holes, would be to get a pole for the middle part and then a UAV for the top.
I @mcvities, yeah I used smartcapture sometimes, but I've the free edition and I get 2.9 gigapixels of data so I couldn't post it on sketchfab, only the smartcapture viewer.... :/
also, I don't know if there is a way to mask in smartcapture, because clouds were moving fast and could be a problem during the aerotriangulation.
@Maurice, thx mate, hope it ran with no problems on you macbook ^^
Great scan ! How many photos did you use for this model ?
You must try Acute3D Smart3DCapture that use far less memory ;-)

Wow, superbe!
OK I'm late :D, but my PC nearly die to make this scan xD !
6 hours for computation of point cloud
5 hours for meshing
I've needed to borrow a big workstation with 32 giga ram + a really big Xeon processor (12 cores) but it wasn't enough xD
