Trump sketch sells for $16K
A sketch of the Empire State Building drawn by President Trump has fetched $16,000 at auction.
The Associated Press reported Friday that the 12-inch-by-9-inch sketch was initially estimated to go for between $8,000 and $12,000. The buyer has not been named.
The black marker sketch was drawn and first sold in 1995 at a charity auction for less than $100.

But the sketch isn’t the priciest one drawn by the real estate mogul. A 2005 sketch of the New York City skyline sold at auction earlier this year for nearly $30,000.
A portion of the proceeds for the Empire State Building drawing will go to WHDD-FM, a public radio station in Connecticut, the AP reported.
