Turkish occupation arrests six Kurdish women in Afrin

Joint patrols by the Turkish intelligence and (political security) of the Islamic militias launched a campaign of large-scale arrests of six Kurdish citizens in the city center of Afrin.

According to the correspondent of “Afrinpost” the joint patrols consisting of elements of the Turkish intelligence and militants of the so-called (Political Security) belonging to Islamic militias, carried out a campaign of raids and arrests focused on Kurdish women.

The reporter documented the names of the detained women: (1) Khadija Qara Ali, 2 – Amina Qara Ali, 3 – Fadila Mohammed, 4 – Fadilah Kriko, 5 – Fadilah Seydou, Hayat Qarah Ali, in addition to the eighty Nouri Qarah Ali, who was later released yesterday.”

The correspondent pointed out that the occupation forces released a few hours later on both Fadiliya Kriku and the Hayat Qara Ali, while keeping the rest of the women in detention.

Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood often commit criminal acts against Kurdish women in Afrin, most recently in Midan Akbas on Wednesday, when an armed group of the militia “Falik al-Sham” stormed the homes of a number of Kurdish citizens and assaulted them severely, including Pregnant woman, leading to her abortion.
