Why this petition matters

Started by Alaha Ahrar

The Taliban barred girls from school and most women from employment. The Taliban must change their conservative ideology, which is in contrary to Islamic and human rights values. Instead, they must protect girls and women and support the right of education for every young girl and financial stabilities for adult woman in Afghanistan and worldwide.

-       Every girl has the right to live.

-       Every girl has the right to education

-       Every girl has the right to get medical attention

-       Every girl has the right to have food

-       Every girl has the right to have proper clothing

-       Every girl has the right to have a shelter

-       Every girl has the right to be treated equally and fairly like any boy

·       No child deserves to experience what Afghan children are experiencing in Afghanistan right now.

Children shape their future and the future of our today’s world. In order to have a peaceful world in the future, we all must strive to ensure all children have equal rights and no child experiences any sort of discrimination based on gender.

All humanitarian rights of children must be protected and observed, and children must be safeguarded from all sorts of harms, torture, physical, and sexual violence.

Sincerely,

Alaha Ahrar & Team members of Kindness Sharing Project (KSP)
