 There is still no word on the location or fate of teacher and women's rights activist Fariba Zandkarimi, seven days after her detention.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, 35-year-old Fariba Zandkarimi, one of the teachers of the Department of Education and women's rights activists in Sanandaj, has been denied contact with her family following her arrest, and no information about her fate has been made available.
 

According to a source close to the Zandkarimi family, the family's efforts to find out the fate of Fariba have been unsuccessful so far, and there is no information about her fate or whereabouts.

Fariba Zandkarimi was arrested at 20:00 on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, after being summoned to the Intelligence Department of Sanandaj.
 

Hengaw wrote earlier, quoting informed sources: "After the arrest of Fariba Zandkarimi, the forces of the intelligence department stormed her house and searched it."
