Brave bunny fights off hungry bird of prey

Feb. 1 (UPI) -- A bird of prey in Russia was left searching for a different meal when its chosen target, a particularly scrappy hare, turned out to be more trouble than it was worth.

The video filmed in Krasnoyarsk Krai shows the bird of prey repeatedly dive-bombing the hare, but each time the bunny dodges the bird's talons and strikes back with a volley of aerial punches.

The bird appears determined to make a meal of the hare, but the mammal refuses to give up and declines to run away.
